Guatemala – Day 3, May 7th

Day 3: First day of English and After school camps
6:45 AM wake-up to the sweet, sweet sounds of dog and rooster choirs battling one another, and by 8 AM we were on our way to the elementary school for our first English lessons. The students learned colors, our names, and very possibly saw a Chinese person in real life for the first time (judging how they excitedly called me chino). While waiting for the afternoon to roll around for the after school camp, we made a solar light, and right before dinner we cooled off and bathed in the river.
